The 2019-20 Mediterranean is made from 100% single Estate Regional Kalamata fruit harvested from the Otway Ranges near Birregurra. This mild Extra Virgin Olive oil has a tropical fruit nose of papaya and guava. The oil is light with low bitterness and a lingering pungency. It is ideally suited for dipping and drizzling or with white fish as a finishing oil. It would also be a good mayonnaise oil and useful in salad dressings due to it’s low bitterness and fruity character.
This oil was awarded a Bronze in the 2019 Australian International Olive Awards.
